Aimee's Army501c3 Non Profit Organization

About Me

My name is Ariel and I am the original founder of Aimee's Army here in AZ.  I started it shortly after Aimee was diagnosed with her tumor.  I soon found out that it was more than I could handle alone so I took on Kim Harney as co-founder so that we both could work on the fund-raising for the McKeon/Dickey family.  I became obcessed with trying to find money for this family in their time of need.  I put my own life on hold to concentrate on the fund-raising and doing whatever I had to do to make sure that this family had no worries.  With the help of Kim we were able to raise over $5000.00 in a few short weeks.  The foundation here in AZ has now been closed and it's new home is in PA where Annette is the CEO and she is now doing what Kim and I had limited access too.  She has nurtured Aimee's Army and it has grown more than I had even envisioned it would be but only hoped that it would become.  I am proud to say that Annette and Aimee have done a wonderful job of making Aimee's Army what it has become.  I know this is supposed to be about me, but there really isn't much to tell, but I just wanted everyone to know how proud I am of Annette and how grateful I am for having her in my life.  Thank you!
